Delbert Lynn Clark
Delbert Lynn Clark, 74, Nevada, Mo., passed away on July 7, 2007, in Culpepper Place, Nevada. He was born July 17, 1932, in Vernon County, Mo., to Perry D. Clark and Wilma Grace Wilson Clark. He married Patricia Lee Spencer on Aug. 24, 1951, in Eureka Springs, Ark. Later he married Leoti Highley on May 27, 1986, in Overland Park, Kan., and she survives of their home in Culpepper Place.
Lynn grew up in Walker and graduated from Walker High School in 1950. He served in the National Guard in Nevada for six years. Lynn was a member of the Walker Christian Church. He worked as an auto mechanic all his life and drove a school bus for Walker school district for 25 years. He was a 50-year member of the Walker Masonic Lodge AF and AM No. 605, 32nd degree Scottish Rite, and a member of the Walker Rebekah Club.
Survivors in addition to his wife Leoti include, two sons, Mike Clark and his wife Phyllis, Walker, and Paul Clark, Leawood, Kan.; two stepchildren, Warren Highley and his wife Sonya, Milo, Mo., and Rose Micklich and her husband Bob, Nevada; one grandson, Gary Clark and his wife Shawna, Walker; step-grandchildren, Warren Highley Jr., Matthew Highley and wife Ashley, Robert Micklich and wife Becky, Melissa Micklich, and Veronica Highley; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one stepson, Wayne Highley.
Funeral services and Masonic services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Wednesday, July 11, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Tim Brewer officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Walker. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home and the family receives friends from 7-8 p.m., on Tuesday, July 10, at the funeral home.
