Sewer Bond Issue Passes

Unofficial totals from Vernon County Clerk Tammi Beach show that Nevada voters said yes to a $9.8 million increase in sewer bonds by nearly a four-to-one margin. Yes-394, No-117.

By polling place: Absentees 68 yes, 16 no; YMCA 24 yes, 5 no; Home Economics Building 27 yes, 23 no; Methodist church 119 yes, 23 no; First Baptist church 90 yes, 35 no; National Guard Armory 66 yes, 15 no.
