Fort Scott man pens Christian book

Fort Scott, Kan. -- William E. Morris, of Fort Scott, has recently authored a book to be printed by PublishAmerica.

Titled "One Man's Christian Redemption," the book tells the tale of two brothers, Woody and John, and how they grow apart throughout their lifetimes. John goes the way of fame and fortune, and Woody follow's the Lord's leading for this life, in a story that is reminiscent of the biblical prodigal son story.

Morris was born in Lebanon, Mo., in 1963, and has spent his lifetime in the Midwest. Morris worked in food service for many years, and was injured in 1994, leading to a career change into data entry work. After a few more years, Morris became totally disabled. He turned to Christianity in 1996. He currently resides in Fort Scott, with his wife.

Promoters describe the book as "a story of triumph, tragedy, joy and sorrow as two brothers live their lives and try to make their way in this sometimes wacky and mixed-up world."
