Cottey College entertains Mid America Nazarene JVs

Cottey College will attempt to remain perfect on the season when it hosts Mid America Nazarene tonight at 7 p.m. in the Hinkhouse Center.

The Comets, who pounded University of Saint Mary jayvees 77-40 last Friday, being a 2-0 record into the contest.

Elizabeth Wagoner, a 5-feet-11 sophomore forward, averages 14.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists to pace the Comets. Freshman forward Brittany Smith (5-9) contributes a team-leading 17.5 points and 7.5 rebounds a contests. Sophomore guard Melissa Hedges adds 10 points per game while freshman forward Jessica Roberts averages 9.5 points and a team-leading 10.5 rebounds. Freshman points guard Meleah Painter rounds out the expected starting lineup for Coach Dave Ketterman's Comets.

Cottey visits Hesston College on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m., then returns home to the Hinkhouse Center to face Ottawa University on Monday night, Nov. 19, at 7 o'clock.
