Local cold golfers

Justin Messner/Herald Tribune With temperatures staying around the 40 degree mark, most try to find a way to remain in the climate controlled comfort of the indoors. However, a few die-hard golfers found their way out to the local golf course, refusing to let the weather stop the fun. Keith and Don Hammontree, Ron and Don Farmer, and Leonard Zoglmann play through a round of golf at Frank E. Peters Municipal golf couse Friday ignoring the frigid elements. "This is how we play, with heaters," said Don Hammontree pointing to his covered and heated golf cart, "we're not completely crazy."
