NRMC welcomes New Year's Baby

The first baby born in 2008 at Nevada Regional Medical Center, Colton Wilson, made his debut into the world at 6 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 1. Above, Tasha and Steve Geer, Lamar, hold Colton. Colton weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces, and measured 20 inches long. Colton and his parents are winners of the annual New Year's Baby Contest, sponsored by the Nevada Daily Mail/Nevada News and will receive gifts from local sponsors. Gifts include a two-burger deal from Sonic; two bottles of fuel injection cleaner from Len's Truck and Auto, LLC, a $50 Savings Bond from First National Bank; a $50 Savings Bond from TeamBank, a package of diapers from Ramey's Village Market and a $10 gift certificate from Computers and More, all in Nevada.
