Nevada police chained this small storage shed to a utility pole after it blew off its foundation in the backyard of a home located at the corner of Ash and Highland Monday afternoon. The shed continually blew into the road disturbing traffic until authorities tethered it to the power pole in the residence back yard. Gusty winds caused several problems and dozens of nuisances throughout the day, blowing garbage cans and lawn furniture out of yards and into the city's streets. Gary Ashby, Aquila projects supervisor, reported that one power pole on Arch Street fell due to high winds at about 5 p.m., yesterday.
