Church plans benefit show for fire victims

REDFIELD, Kan. -- Flames destroyed a young family's rural Bourbon County home Jan. 15 and, although they escaped with their lives, Vincent Woods, Courtney Clayton and their six-month-old son Kassen Woods were left with nothing. Although friends and neighbors have donated items to replace some of their belongings, they still need to replace many things to help them start again.

The Mt. Orum Baptist Church, 1050 115th St., southwest of Redfield, will hold a miscellaneous show for the family at 7 p.m. Saturday. Open to the public.
