Timothy Earl Satterfield
Timothy Earl Satterfield, 46, of Bronaugh, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 20, 2008, in Bronaugh. He was born June 18, 1961, in Liberal, Kan., to Aaron R. Satterfield and Betty L. Earl Satterfield. He married Shannon Walton on July 11, 1990, in Bronaugh, and she survives of the home.
Tim grew up in Bronaugh and graduated from Bronaugh High School, in 1979. He served in the United States Navy for three years during the Gulf War. Tim operated Satterfield's Service Station for many years. He was also a welder and worked in construction. Tim was a member of the American Legion, in Arcadia, Kan.
Survivors, in addition to his wife Shannon, include; his parents, Aaron and Betty Satterfield, of Bronaugh; three brothers, Mike Satterfield, of Westport, Ark., Gary Satterfield, of Bronaugh, and David Satterfield, of Carl Junction; four sisters, Pam McKee, of Mesa, Ariz., Connie Smith, of Lamar, Debbie Heitz, of Bronaugh, and Sandy Weber, of Carl Junction; foster brother, Steve Hoye, of Bronaugh; numerous nieces and nephews; and in-laws Pete and Susan Walton, Shaun West and Shane Walton, all of Nevada.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, April 23, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Ed Post officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery, in Barton County. Friends may call now and until the hour of services at the funeral home. Those who wish, may contribute in his memory to the Bronaugh High School Scholarship Fund, in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
