Council to review grant, property transfer plan
The Nevada City Council is looking at short agenda for their meeting tonight.
Among the items to be considered are a resolution authorizing an application for a USDA Rural Development grant to pay for running the fiber optic line to the new Vernon County jail facility and the second reading of an ordinance transferring the ownership of property to the Nevada R-5 School District.
The council also will consider bids for 15 Mueller fire hydrants, 3,360 feet of pipe for water line replacement, two police cars, security cameras for various public facilities, bulk fuel for the golf course and the wastewater treatment plant, three dump trucks and automotive fuel for use by all departments.
A report from Monte Curtis, airport board chairman, is also slated to take place.
