Jerry L. Goffinet, 42, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of possession and being a public nuisance. He is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

Michelle A. Goffinet, 37, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on chargesg of possession and being a public nuisance. She was released on her own recognizance.

Troy B. Miller, 35, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of possession. He was released on a $2,500 bond.

Roy R. Roberts, 29, of Nevada was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of passing bad checks. He was released on his own recognizance.

May 13

There were reports of a juvenile in the Barton County area, trash dumping in the Nevada area, a medical call in the Metz area, an agency assist in the the Nevada area, a theft in the Nevada area, a medical call in the El Dorado Springs area, a 911 hang up in the Vernon County area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Nevada area, a water leak in the Schell City area, a 911 hang up in the Vernon County area, animals in the Moundville area, cows our in the Deerfield area, an assault in the Nevada area, and a traffic stop in the Nevada area.

Brandon M. Swink, 24, of Sheldon, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County area on charges of failure to appear for receiving stolen property. He is being held without bond.

James A. Hurd, of Springfield, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of probation violation for tampering with a motor vehicle. He is being held without bond.
