Jim and Mary Shannon

Jim Shannon and Mary Alice Hensley were united in marriage on June 6, 1958, in the Mansfield Methodist Church, by the Rev. Carlton Knight. A reception open house celebrating their 50 years together will be held June 8, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the United Methodist Church, in Nevada.

Hosting this special event will be their children, Jim and Brenda Shannon, Shari and Alf Halvorson, and Mike and Jennifer Shannon, The couple's grandchildren, Sarah and Nick Shannon, Matt and Kristen Halvorson and Libby, Molly, and Sophie Shannon will also be assisting.

All family and friends are invited to attend and help them celebrate. Omission of gifts is requested.
