An accident occurred at 1:21 p.m., at Centennial and Hickory, involving a pickup driven by Jeffrey L. Bond, of Nevada, and a car driven by Stephan L. Sherwood, of Nevada. Sherwood and Ruth M. Hundley, of Nevada, a passenger in the Sherwood vehicle, were listed with evident, not disabling, injuries.

An accident occurred at 2:27 p.m., at Austin and Washington, involving a car driven by Evan M. Cox, of Nevada, and a car that left the scene. No injuries were reported. The case is still under investigation.

An accident occurred at 3:48 p.m., at Woods parking lot, involving a car driven by Carl G. Belcher, of Nevada, and a SUV driven by Cassaundra N. Wolfe, of Nevada. No injuriese were reported.

An accident occurred at 10:16 p.m., at Hickory and Prewitt, involving a car driven by Roy A. Slates, of Nevada, and a gas main that was pushed over (owned by Empire Gas) and a stop sign and a metal pole broken from the ground (owned by the city of Nevada) and a concrete culvert which was broken into several pieces and a small tree removed from the ground owned by Kleetis Worth, of 504 N. Prewitt. No injuries were reported.
