Trenton and Sarah Moots
Sarah Gale Roller and Trenton Neil Moots were married on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church in Fort Scott. The Rev. Paul Babcock officiated at the ceremony.
Sarah is the daughter of Daryl and Christy Roller, of Fort Scott. Trenton is the son of Mike Moots, of Buhler, Kan., and Kim Moots of Hutchinson, Kan.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a white satin gown with a chiffon split-front overlay featuring crystal embroidery on the bodice, cap sleeves, and chapel train.
The matron of honor was Holly Spicer. Bridesmaids were Amy Roller and Beth Roller, sisters of the bride. Crystal Moots, sister-in-law of the bride, Jessica Smith, and Sara Park. The flower girl was Victoria Keller, cousin of the bride.
The best man was Mike Moots, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Austin Moots, brother of the groom, Brandon Smith and Jason McClure, cousins of the groom, Nathan Reed, and Ronnie Hicks. The ring bearer was Taite Moots, nephew of the groom. Tanner Schrag, nephew of the groom, carried the unity candle, and Dylan Schrag and Kolbi Schrag, nephews of the groom, were candlelighters. Ushers were Greg Smith, uncle of the groom, Jeremy Johnston, and Jeff Madison.
Organist was Pat Harry, and vocalist was Jeremy Johnston. Readers were Mindy Roder and Amanda Wiehl.
Following the ceremony, a reception featuring dinner and dancing was hosted by the bride's parents at the Scottish Rite Temple.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Jamaica. They have made their home in Haven, Kan. Trenton works in electrical maintenance at Jackson's Dairy in Hutchinson, and Sarah is a manager at Gap in Wichita.
