Middle School volleyball teams split at Pittsburg

The Nevada Middle School seventh and eighth grade volleyball teams traveled to Pittsburg, Kan., Monday night.

The seventh grade B team won in two sets; 25-8, 25-8. The A team was not so fortunate, however, losing 12-25, 20-25.

The eighth graders' luck was very similar as the B team took both sets from Pittsburg 25-6, 25-17, but the A team was defeated 16-25, 19-25. This was the second match of the season and both seventh and eighth grade teams were scheduled to travel to McDonald County for their next match Tuesday night.
