Middle School volleyball defeats McDonald County

The Nevada Middle School seventh and eighth grade volleyball teams competed against McDonald County on the road Tuesday night.

Both teams at each level were able to pick up victories, taking down McDonald County in all four games. The seventh grade A team won 25-23, 25-7 while the B team was able to take the victory 25-18, 25-12.

The eighth graders had similar success as the B team won 27-25, 25-9. The A team needed three sets to pull off the win, but were still able to squeeze it out 22-25, 25-21, 25-16.

Both the seventh and eighth grade teams will be off for the rest of the week and are scheduled to travel to Joplin Memorial for their next match on Monday.

The next home match is set for Sept. 25, when the Tigers are scheduled to face Neosho.
