Cross Country shows promise at Bolivar

The Nevada Tigers Cross Country team recently ran in Bolivar, Mo.

The Tigers had mixed success at the event, with Todd Brier and middle school runner Brandon Norton taking seventh in their respective events. Emily Watts nearly cracked the top 10, finishing 11th in the varsity girls 5,000 meters while Stephanie Mosbrucker finished close behind in 14th.

Other varsity finishes included Mike Bray taking 26th in the boys 5,000, Dominic Habjan finishing 27th and Chris Bray taking 32nd. Chase Brooks and Danielle Stanhope each took 17th in the JV 5,000 meter races.

The Tigers will be off for the rest of the week and their next scheduled meet will be in Iola, Kan., on Sept. 25.
