The Nevada Lady Tigers golf team competed in their third and final home match of the year on a warm, sunny Monday afternoon.

The Lady Tigers competed against Girard and Seneca, taking first place with a final team score of 203. The tournament was also scheduled to include Uniontown High School, but that team failed to appear at the event.

The tournament was played on the back nine holes of the Frank E. Peters Golf Course with each team dividing up and starting at different holes to spread out the competitors and keep the game moving. Nevada took the top five individual scores of the event, including a "great round of 47" head coach Brian Leonard said, for the individual best of the day by Melea Galimberto.

Emily DeBrine finished fourth with a final score of 54 and Jessica Mosbrucker rounded out the top five, finishing 10 strokes out of the top spot at 57.

As a team, the Lady Tigers finished a total of 57 strokes ahead of Girard to take the win.

The Lady Tigers will be in action again on Thursday as they travel to Clinton Country Club to play against Clinton and Sedalia Smith-Cotton with tee time set at 4 p.m.
