Nevada Library Board to discuss roof issue, upcoming programs

The city of Nevada Public Library Board plans to conduct its regular, quarterly meeting at 5:15 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 25, in the library's meeting room, 218 W. Walnut. Attendees should enter from the Walnut Street entrance.

The board last met in July.

Updates on technology and roof issues top the old business on the agenda, and discussion of the library's annual book sale, the "Traces" traveling exhibit and other miscelaneous items are on the agenda as well.

The library plans to hold its annual book sale on Saturday, Oct. 4, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., in the meeting room.

A wide variety of books generally suitable for audiences of all ages are available each year for the sale.

Those who attend the book sale should enter through the Walnut Street entrance and are encouraged to bring bags or boxes for the books that are purchased.

Both he meeting and sale are open to the public.
