There were reports of a burglary in the El Dorado Springs area, threats in the Compton Junction area, a mattress fire in the Nevada area, a 911 stranded motorist, a civil matter in the Nevada area, missing cows in the Milo area, a missing juvenile in the Nevada area, information from the Bronaugh area, a vehicle accident in the St. Clair County area, a check well being in the Nevada area, a check well being in the Nevada area, an alarm in the Nevada area, a disturbance in progress in the Sheldon area, cows out in the Metz area, and a cow out in the Bronaugh area.
Samuel W. Phillip, 40, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of attempted theft of a motor vehicle. He is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

There were reports of a suspicious party in the Nevada area, a check well being in the Sheldon area, a check well being in the Nevada area, an ambulance request in the Schell City area, a public intoxication in the Nevada area, vandalism in the Nevada area, a possible vehicle theft in the Sheldon area, an identity theft in the Hume area, an emergency ex parte in the Montevallo area, a check well being in the Nevada area, and a request to speak to a deputy in the Bates County line area.
Jonathan R. Baker, 24, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of tampering with a motor vehicle, and distribution, delivering, and manufacturing of a controlled substance. He is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
