Lady Tigers host youth basketball camp

The girls' division of the Nevada Tigers' youth basketball program is scheduled to begin on Saturday, Oct. 25.

The program will be headed by varsity basketball coach Brent Bartlett with help from assistants Jenny Allard and Clay Wheeler. Additional assistance will be provided by members of the Nevada High School Lady Tiger basketball team.

Fundamentals of the game as well as team play will be among the areas emphasized during the five-week program and each participant will be given a T-shirt. The program will be open girls ages third through sixth grade and the third and fourth grade program will be held at the middle school while the fifth and sixth graders will be in the high school.

The program is scheduled to start on Oct. 25, with sessions on Nov. 1, 8, 15 and 22 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., with a $13 registration fee that is due at registration on Saturday.
