City offices to close for holiday

Area government offices have announced plans to close in observance of the Christmas holiday.

Nevada's city offices will close at noon on Dec. 24 and remained closed on Dec. 25-26. All city offices will re-open for normal business on Monday, Dec. 29.

The Nevada Housing Authority will be closing at noon on Dec. 24, and will remain closed all day on Dec. 25.

The Nevada Public Library will be closing at 3 p.m., Dec. 24, and will be closed all day, Dec. 25.

Missouri State Highway Patrol driver examination stations throughout the state will be closed Thursday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Dec. 26.

Normal operations will resume on Monday, Dec. 29.

The Nevada Daily Mail's offices will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25, and no newspaper will be published for that day.
