Thanks for Teen Angel support

Dear Editor,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Vernon County area for their support of Teen Angels. I am so proud of the community and the support they have shown our teens.

I don't mention the names of the individuals or businesses that helps us because most prefer to remain anonymous. I so admire that humble spirit of giving. I do however want everyone who helped out -- whether by donation or by adopting a teen (and YOU know who you are) -- to know that Jason and I appreciate you and that we will pray for God's abundant blessings for you in 2009.

I feel so fortunate to live in a community that gives back to its own. It was such a privilege to be a part of the community distribution held on December 19th. Community Outreach (food pantry), the Ambulance Barn (Toys for Tots), the Nevada High School student council, numerous volunteers and Teen Angels all coming together in service to our community! May the spirit of Christmas live in our lives all year long!

Again, thank YOU Vernon County. May we all continue the spirit of humble giving and service to our community all year long. We all need help from time to time...may we all lend a "hand up" to our community!
