Feuquay to serve as president of MHA Southwest District Council
Judith Feuquay, president and chief executive officer of Nevada Regional Medical Center, was elected to a one-year term as president of the Missouri Hospital Association Southwest District Council. Her term began Jan. 1.
As district council president, Feuquay's responsibilities include presiding over council meetings and guiding discussions on association policies and activities. One of six MHA district council presidents, she will direct input from council members on national, state and regional health care policies to the MHA Board of Trustees. District council presidents also select recipients of MHA's Excellence in Governance awards and the Visionary Leadership Award.

Feuquay received a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. Before joining Nevada Regional Medical Center in 2004, she served from 1998 to 2003 as CEO of Logan Hospital and Medical Center in Guthrie, Okla., and from 1992 to 1998 as CEO of Perry Memorial Hospital in Perry, Okla.
The Missouri Hospital Association is a not-for-profit association in Jefferson City that represents 152 Missouri hospitals. In addition to representation and advocacy on behalf of its membership, the association offers continuing education programs on current health care topics and seeks to educate the public, as well as legislative representatives, about health care issues.
