Thank you everyone

Dear friends,

Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness for the past several months. Your kind words and gifts at my retirement were unexpected and appreciated very much. Two weeks ago when my husband Rudy passed away your calls, beautiful flowers, food and many cards were very special to me. Thank you to everyone who made donations to Vernon County People for Pets and the Mike and Diana Baker Fund for Animals. Because of all of you, I will be able to make a generous donation to each of these groups.

I would also like to thank all of the wonderful staff at Community Springs Nursing home. Those who helped take care of Rudy know who you are and I will always be grateful to you for the warmth and love you showed to both Rudy and me.

The staff of St. John's Ambulance Service and Drs. Casey and Heuser was terrific. You treated Rudy with dignity and respect throughout his long ordeal with Alzheimer's disease.

And finally, thanks to all the staff at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home. You allowed me to have a memorial service for Rudy that shared wonderful memories and was done in a non-traditional manner. He would have liked it. Blessings to all of you.
