An accident occurred at 11 a.m., on U.S. 71 Highway and Indiana, involving a car driven by Edoline L. Smith, of Nevada, and a pot hole causing damage to a tire and rim. No injuries were reported.

There was a report of a petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 100 block of south Ash, made by Stacy Collins, of Nevada. She reported cash and medication stolen.
