Cottey presents 'A Thurber Carnival' Feb. 27-28

The Cottey College Department of Theater will present "A Thurber Carnival" on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 27 and 28, in the Auditorium of the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts. The curtain will rise at 8 o'clock, both evenings.

This revue, with dance and music, features humorous sketches by American humorist James Thurber. It includes Thurber's famous "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty," "Mr. Preble Gets Rid of His Wife," "The Macbeth Murder Mystery," "The Unicorn in the Garden," "The Little Girl and the Wolf," and many other scenes. The student actors are directed by Michael Denison.

Tickets for "A Thurber Carnival" are $4 for adults and $3 for those under age 18 or over age 62. Tickets are available at the door the night of the show.

The Center for the Arts is on the northeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada.
