Chef Michael Richardson, Cottey food service director, spent considerable time with the NRTC Culinary Arts Class this week. First, as part of the NRTC Culinary Arts Celebrity Chefs Series, Chef Richardson spent all day Tuesday teaching the students how to prepare herbed chicken, potato cakes and molten lava cakes. He then came in Wednesday through Friday at 10:30 a.m., and worked with the NRTC Culinary Team with plating and presentation as the team prepares for the State FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) Culinary STAR Events. --Submitted photo
