Gathered in prayer

A large crowd gathers near the flagpole on the south lawn of the Vernon County Courthouse at noon on Thursday to observe a National Day of Prayer, to listen as several local spiritual leaders lead the group in prayer, local youth play patriotic music and to join in singing "America the Beautiful" and the "Star Spangled Banner." --Rusty Murry/Daily Mail
