Willie and Deborah Simpson, of Kearney, Mo., celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner on Feb. 20, 2009, at Zios in Independence, Kan., hosted by Amber Sojka, Justin Simpson and Austin Simpson.

Willie Simpson and the former Deborah Craig were married Feb. 17, 1969, in Fulton, Kan. They are parents of three children and eight grandchildren.
