An accident occurred at 5:38 p.m., on Cedar before Austin, involving a SUV driven by Jacqueline L. Linn, of Bronaugh, and a pickup owned by Donald J. Vaughn, of Nevada. No injuries were reported.

There was a report of a petty theft from a motor vehicle, in the 700 block of north Washington, made by Beth Waldrup, of Nevada. She reported a pair of Tommy Hilfiger eyeglasses, one Fossil wrist watch, one backpack, and two books stolen.

There was a report of a petty theft from a motor vehicle, in the 900 block of west Cherry, made by Jerry Peters, of Nevada. He reported an Apple iPod, and a pair of sunglasses stolen.
