Youth basketball camp set for June 8-12
The Nevada High School boys' basketball program is sponsoring a youth basketball camp for boys entering third through eighth grades.
The camp will take place June 8-12, and will emphasize fundamentals and encouragement while providing individual attention, inexpensive instruction and great competition. The camp comes with a cost of $30 for third though fifth graders and $35 for sixth through eighth graders and includes a camp T-shirt.
Campers will also receive prizes donated by more than 70 professional and college teams. The camp will include two separate sessions per day, starting with third through fifth graders from 1-2:30 p.m. Sixth through eighth grade sessions will follow from 2:45-5 p.m.
Registration forms can be picked up in the principal's office at Nevada High School and will be due June 1. However, late registrations will be accepted at the first day of camp.
