There were reports of a check well being in the Horton area, a stranded motorist in the Deerfield area, and harassment in the Sheldon area.

Richard D. Nunley, 34, of Bronaugh, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of failure to appear for a traffic violation. He is being held in lieu of a $184.50 bond.
