Lady Tigers to host youth basketball program

The girls' division of the annual Nevada High School youth basketball program is set to begin this Saturday, Oct. 24.

Along with his assistants, Jenny Allard and Clay Wheeler, Nevada Lady Tigers head coach Brent Bartlett will head up the program that will also include assistance from members of the Nevada Lady Tigers basketball team. The main focal points of the five-week program will be fundamentals and team play.

The program is open to all interested third through sixth grade girls and will take place on Saturdays from Oct. 24 to Nov. 21, from 9-10:30 a.m. Third and fourth grade sessions will take place at the middle school while fifth and sixth graders will be at the high school.

The program comes with a cost of $13 that must be paid at registration on the program's first day and includes a T-shirt.
