Voters head to polls to narrow the field of candidates for Nevada City Council

Tuesday, February 2, 2010

Today, voters will go to the polls to decide which two of the four candidates vying for a lone seat on the Nevada City Council will face off in the April election.

Debbie Bossaller, Sonya Tumm, Myron Damon and James McKenzie have all filed for the seat. Two will be eliminated by voters today.

Officials expect light voter turnout, but hope voters will make the effort to go to the the polls, nonetheless.
