Carolyn Maurine Wallace

Carolyn Maurine Wallace, 64, Walker, Mo., passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin following an illness of several weeks. She was born Oct. 12, 1945, in Nevada, to Earl Eugene Dennis and Feba Maurine Daily Dennis. She married Jack Wallace on Nov. 5, 1965, in Anchorage, Alaska, and he survives of the home.

Carolyn was born and raised in this area and spent virtually her entire life here. She worked as a caregiver at Joe Clark Residential Care Center as well as the Nevada State Hospital. She was also employed for a number of years at the First National Bank in Nevada. She was a member of the Baptist Church of Harwood, Mo.

Survivors in addition to her husband, Jack, of the home, include: one daughter, Dawn White, Walker Mo.; and her father, Earl Dennis, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her brother, Luther Dennis.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, March 1, at Green Mound Cemetery, Harwood. Friends may call now and until 10 a.m., on Monday at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.

Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
