Marci Mitchell makes her way back home from Nashville for free performance March 12-13
Nashville is a long haul from the rural fields of Missouri, but that is exactly where this singer's dreams led her. When Marci Mitchell arrived in Nashville a few years ago, the dream of becoming a country icon was still a blur. Since then she has completed a self-titled CD, completed several regional tours, gained national sponsorships, witnessed her CD's success throughout the country, and stormed the main stages and shadowed artists such as Blake Shelton, Brooks and Dunn, Joe Nichols, Shooter Jennings, Montgomery Gentry, Pat Boon, Jerry Lee Lewis, Joe Diffie, Kentucky Headhunters, Bill Medley, Emerson Drive, Ty England, to just name a few. Although she's not quite a household name yet, in a short time she is well on her way to making her dreams a reality. Now Mitchell has been involved on three CD projects, and was featured in a video for Brooks and Dunn that was used on their last tour.
Marci will be back home visiting her family and will be performing a free "Nashville style" acoustic performance at Shooter's in Nevada, both Friday and Saturday nights March 12, and 13. She will be performing some of her original songs as well as some popular country tunes made famous by other artists and will be accompanied by "Dangerous Doug" Harper.
