Charlene L. Jett

Charlene L. Jett, 65, of Sheldon, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, in Phoenix, Ariz., following a lengthy illness. She was born May 17, 1944, in Murdo, S.D., to James and Edna Mae Lemmel Hutton. Charlene was married on Oct. 3, 1964, in Farmington, Mo., to Kenneth Jett, and he survives of the home.

Charlene moved to Nevada in 1969, and lived the remainder of her life there. She worked in the banking profession until her retirement in 1997 as an assistant vice-president. After her retirement, Charlene and Kenneth enjoyed winters in Arizona with their friends.

In addition to her husband, Kenneth, survivors include: one sister, Betty St. Gemme and her husband Dale, of Farmington; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A committal service will be held at 3 p.m., on Saturday, May 29, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Nevada, with Dr. William Cox officiating.
