Sox split Monday's doubleheader

Red Sox pitcher Ross Means lays down a sacrifice bunt in the fourth inning of Monday's first game with Miller.

The AAA Nevada Red Sox Split a doubleheader Monday with Miller, losing game one 6-4 and winning game two 15-3. Ross Means suffered the loss in game 1 despite a strong pitching performance. Costly errors once again were too much to overcome. In game two, Isaac Wilkins picked up the win allowing only 3 runs in a run rule contest. The Red Sox next will travel to Everton, Wednesday, for a 6 p.m. start.
