June 24

11:15 a.m.: An accident occurred at Cherry and Adams street involving a car driven by Debra L. James, Mo., and a car driven by Jason R. Litten, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

June 25

Shawn Lukenbill, Nevada, reported a petty theft from a motor vehicle. Items stolen were: change, wallet, and a plastic tray.

Thomas Haner, Nevada, reported a theft in the 1200 block of East Division Street. Item stolen was a smoker.

June 27

9:40 a.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 and Ashland Street involving a pickup driven by Christopher S. Kafer, Nevada, and a pickup driven by Joel I. McKinney, Harwood. No injuries were reported.

July 2

Kraig Genter, Nevada, reported a first degree burglary in the 500 block of North Main Street. Items stolen were: numerous tools, fishing and camping equipment.

4:53 p.m.: An accident occurred at Eddy's Auto involving a pickup driven by Abraham L. Botha, Nevada, and a parked car owned by Salley Wingo, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

4:53 p.m.: An accident occurred at 402 W. Austin Blvd. involving a pickup driven by Charles J. Steele, Springfield, and a van driven by Agnes D. Pearson, Fulton. No injuries were reported.

9:09 p.m.: An accident occurred at West and Garfield streets involving a parked car owned by Jennifer Laffey, Nevada, and a car driven by Raul J. Mata, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

July 4

Jeffrey Findley, Nevada, reported a second degree/unlawful entry burglary in the 1100 block of North Colorado Street. Items stolen were: wallet and contents.

1:08 p.m.: An accident occurred at 1703 N. Osage St. involving a parked pickup owned by Clemme V. Mason, Milo, and an unknown vehicle. No injuries were reported.
