Bridal shower conducted
Marilyn Entrikin was coming home from Ashley's bridal shower and stopped under the Horton overpass for a few minutes. It was raining so hard, she couldn't see the highway. She got 1-1/2 inches of rain yesterday and last night. Jim and Peggy Entrikin's daughter Ashley and her fiancé Tyler, have been at mom and dad's for a few days. Ashley's friends gave her a shower Sunday evening at the American Legion Hall in Rich Hill. They did some fun games including the Bubble Gum game and they made toilet tissue wedding gowns, after Ashley chose a couple of "models" for them. Delicious refreshments and punch were served. Ashley opened gifts and all wished her well, and went home laughing.
Ashley's aunt rose is fashioning her flowers for the wedding and they got a sneak peek at those. Grandma got to see her wedding gown. She is taking it back to California with her. The hostesses were Brittany Shenker, Brody Miller and Brittany Hood.
Tiffany and Nick Johnson had a birthday party at Butler City Park for their sons. Ean was 5 years old. T.J. was 3 years old. The boys got lots of gifts and had lots of fun. Kenny and Debbie Entrikin are the grandparents.
To make the week interesting, Marilyn locked herself out of her car. Locksmiths sure do come in handy.
Jimmie and Glenda Leer have themselves a good team of mole catchers. Their front yard might be dug up, but moles are gone. Dogs do good jobs, too.
