Masons to host golf tourney

NEVADA -- The Osage Masonic Lodge No. 303 is set to host its first annual golf tournament on Friday, Aug. 6.

The two-person scramble tournament with have an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and will be played at the Frank E. Peters Municipal Golf Course. The entry fee is $80 per team and all proceeds with go to support youth programs.

The 54-team tournament will be divided into five flights with cash payouts being given to the top three finishers in each flight. Special events and a skins game will be among the day's festivities and lunch will be available at the tournament.

Deadline for entry is Monday, Aug. 2.
