Country Club holds annual Classic tournament

The 18th annual Nevada Country Club Classic golf tournament was held at the Nevada Country Club course. The two-person scramble tournament was played over two days with the teams being divided into four flights that were arranged by score on the second day.

The B and C flights played on the final morning of the tournament in a scramble format while the Championship and A Flights competed that afternoon in best ball play. On the evening of the tournament's first day, a Calcutta Auction was held in which the teams were purchased for prize money that was awarded based on the second day's results.

A total of 114 players on 57 teams competed in this year' tournament. Prizes were awarded for the first four places in each flight.

Individual skis were paid in each flight. Calcutta winners were paid according to amount of auction The Calcutta was paid to the winners of the first three places in each flight.
