Stonebraker -- 60 years

A family celebration in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Edward T. Stonebraker, El Dorado Springs, was held on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at the El Dorado Springs Senior Center.

Edward and Elizabeth were married Sept. l9, 1950, at All Saints Catholic Church, in St. Peters, Mo.

The celebration was hosted by Ed and Betty's nine children: Jerry Stonebraker, Olathe, Kan.; Fred Stonebraker, Silverthorne, Colo.; Laura and Richard Schuster, Nevada; Pete Stonebraker, Dallas, Texas; Bill and Cathy Stonebraker, Nevada; John Stonebraker, Overland Park, Kan.; Ron and Louise Routledge, Brookfield, Mo.; Tim and Stephanie Stonebraker, Nevada; and Edward Jr. and Zury Stonebraker, LaFerria, Texas. Also in attendance were several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and cousins from the St. Louis area.

The day consisted of a banquet, with prayer led by Ron Routledge, entertainment provided by harpist Michael O'Shiver, a video created by Michelle Brandel, stories reflecting memories, shared musical performances, and a quilt giveaway.
