Lady Tigers tennis wins season finale

CARL JUNCTION, Mo. -- The Nevada Lady Tigers tennis team completed a 10-2 regular season Thursday with a 7-2 victory over the Lady Bulldogs of Carl Junction.

Katlyn Short, Katie Brauer, Regan Kimbrough and Alexa Cubbage won singles matches and the doubles teams of Short and Brauer, Leah Creasy and Kimbrough and Ashley McKinley and Cubbage won the three doubles matches.

The Lady Tigers are seeded second in next week's district tournament and are scheduled to host either Lamar or Clinton Tuesday in a semifinal match. Lamar visits Clinton Monday.
