Middle school football splits Neosho

The Nevada Middle School seventh grade football team split a pair of home games against the Wildcats of Neosho Tuesday night.
In the B game, Nevada's Tristan Sheperd took it upon himself to get the Tigers offense going. By the time all was said and done, Nevada was able to make a game of it, but fell just short by a final score of 22-20. Sheperd finished the night with three touchdowns for the Tigers.
The A game was a far different scenario for both sides as Neosho's offense never was able to get going. Chaden Brandt attempted to followed in Sheperd's footsteps, finishing the night with both of Nevada's touchdowns in the 14-0 victory.
