CCPA to host Youth Showcase

The Community Council on the Performing Arts announces the first-ever Youth Showcase, a CCPA show sponsored by Nevada Regional Medical Center.

The showcase will be a "Nevada's Got Talent" show for school-aged performers. Individuals, teams or ensembles are welcome. Acts can be vocal, instrumental, dance, comedy, poetry reading, skit, dramatic interpretation, gymnastics, etc. Performers must provide music or an accompanist for vocal entries or background music as applicable.

Show dates are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 3-5, at 7 p.m., and Sunday March 6, at 2 p.m. Each show will feature 20 acts. Participants may choose to be in only one show or as many as desired. Multiple entries per individual or group are welcome as openings allow. Call now for an appointment to register for this event. Evening appointments are available 6:30-7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 31 through Wednesday, Feb. 2, at the Fox Playhouse, 110 S. Main, Nevada.
