Snowplows busy all night

Snow plows pause at Cedar and Austin, Nevada, while battling back drifting snow. By nightfall, the storm that dumped an estimated 18 inches of snow across the area had mostly ended,but clearing a path on the roads proved a difficult task; drifting covered areas of roadway and vehicles that had lost traction in the snow often had to be moved out of the way before progress could continue.

thank you for sure,,,,,but you can go around cars on the street if not to many, and if you drive down a clean street (no cars in the way like ours) in a snow plow in your bright green shirt, would it now have been better to drop the blade, do at least one side of the street......like you were already here, duh!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you to the Nevada city workers and MoDot for all the hours you put in to clear our roadways. Without your efforts, it would be almost impossible for the general public to do the things we must do!

The city guys did a good job, but why didn't the Housing Authority clean the streets at Fairground Estates? They are almost impassable.

Well JW12 I guess you will be volunteering your vast knowledge of snow removal on Monday when the next storm hits. I think the city crews did an incredible job. They deserve nothing but our admiration. Great job Boys.

Fantastic job on getting the streets clear and clean so we could get moving again. This looked like an ENORMOUS task, espcially since so many vehicles were parked on the side roads hindering progress. I am very impressed with the work the the city crews and MoDot did espcially since this amount of snow is pretty much foreign to this part of the state. Congrats on an awesome job!! thank you very much.......
