William Michael Stubbs

William Michael Stubbs, 51, of Newport, Wash., passed away on Jan. 28, 2011.

Bill spent many summers in Nevada with his grandparents. He attended David Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn. He was a member of the Eagles No. 3443, for five years, in Newport. He was employed by Albeni Falls True Value in Oldtown, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Franklin P. and Olga R. Norman, of Nevada. He is survived by his parents, Alfred J. and Katherine Norman Stubbs, Petaluma, Calif.; his sister, Cynthia Wigner; his nephew, John Wigner; and a great nephew, Michael Valadez, all of Santa Rosa, Calif.

A memorial service will be held in Newport, Wash., at the Southern Baptist Church and then a private service will be held in Petaluma, Calif. Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home in Newport, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.
