Fire damages Nevada home
Thursday, March 24, 2011
Nevada firefighters make their way back inside to address the smoldering remains of a fire that broke out in a home at 1515 N. Main, Wednesday evening. The residents, who neighbors said were a single mother and her daughter had recently moved in, but were not at home when the fire started. A cat escaped the home through the open door while firefighters worked. A neighbor said he saw the smoke, pounded on the door in case someone was inside and called 911. No additional information was available at press time Wednesday.
